Subscribe button not working on form

Since updating to the latest WordPress 4.5.2, and updating a small number of plugins, the sign up form no longer works

The ‘Subscribe’ button is not active. Clicking does nothing.

I’ve tried changing the theme to twenty fifteen, tried the widget in a sidebar, tried the shortcode, makes no difference
