Hyperlinks in announcements removed

    hi there,
    thank you for the great plugin – I really love it!
    But unfortunately I’ve found out that hyperlinks in my announcements on the frontpage are removed. My announcements only show text with some hyperlinks but are not clickable/openable. Any help on how to get them back?

    Hello,

    This has been reported a number of times – and is in fact not a bug of the new release, but a feature.

    I would suggest taking a look at the number of other threads opened up in the past 24 hours, for a method to get back your HTML excerpts.

    If after reading through those threads, you are still having issues, feel free to post back here and I will re-open this thread.

    Sorry, I just found that you removed html in excerpts and also found your workaround: https://www.wp-timelineexpress.com/documentation/enable-html-excerpts/
    I guess that will fix it…

    Hi Sumpo,

    That’s correct – the HTML excerpts were the number one thing causing issues for our users, and the number one support request I had to deal with.

    This was the next best method – and should prevent any weird issues for our users moving forward. Additionally, the new code is far more extensible and far more stable.
