Text Widget not editable

  • I recently upgraded to 2.5 and there is a Text Widget in one of my sidebars that when I click on “edit” nothing happens. I can’t even remove the widget, though I’d love to be able to copy the code before I did, if I could.

    I know, I should have copied the code before upgrading, but I didn’t and now I regret it. That said, is there anything that can be done to fix it?

  • Try to add the text widget, then click save changes and now edit the text widget

    I’m actually having the same problem. I tried the suggested fix – adding the text widget then saving changes and editing the text widget – did not work. Any further suggestions?
