Just to get it out of the way, I am running an e-commerce site which is on the most current version of WordPress & WooCommerce. I double checked all plugins and can be sure they are also the most up-to-date supported versions. I’ve even tried working back through all the plugins, one by one to see if this solves the issue, however, I am starting to think it is a setting which I have completely overlooked perhaps?

Recently, I noticed that there is an issue with the way pagination works on this particular website. Namely, if I were to select an arbitrary category such as “Socks” (let’s say I sell clothing), and then navigate through all the different sock products offered starting from page one, the following issue can be observed:

When selecting either “page 2” or “next” at the bottom of the first product category page, everything works just fine… the correct products are displaying. However, I noticed the navigation now will default to the base Shop URL as opposed to the category once attempting to navigate any further.

So instead of the desired “mysite.com/shop/product-category/socks/page/3/“, I would get “mysite.com/shop/page/3/” (regardless of which paginated link is selected: just switch out the page number).
