Mega Menu Plugin Hangs website

  • Every Time we Install the mega menu plugin and enable it it hangs the website. Screen just sits there and spins forever

    I believe this is the error message in the log files

    Hi Roger,

    Is the whole website going down, or just the mega menu settings box (under Appearance > Menus)?

    If the former, this is not a known issue, so I’ll need your help to debug it.

    I don’t think the error above is relevant, it seems to refer to your theme and it’s just a warning (a php warning shouldn’t make your site unresponsive). What I can gather from the error is that your server setup is not quite a standard setup, so that might be something to do with it.

    Please try disabling all plugins, then install MMM and see if it works. If it does then we know the problem is a conflict with another plugin (or maybe that your server is running out of memory).

    Do you have a different server you can try the plugin on?
