When editing the time for an event, after updating the event, the event time will switch both the start and end time to four hours earlier. However the correct time shows on the list of events in the main Events editing page and on the website. Its a minor nuisance sometimes as occasionally I have to update the event two or three times with the correct time for it to show correctly on the live website, though it never shows correctly in the editor.

  • AS AWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE EDITING !!!!!!!

I have this problem also, but it is because I have a conflict with another calendar plugin I am using.
You may have another plugin calling a date…
    or whatever…

You can see this thread for a fix… but you will have to re edit when ever you updated EM… it is just something I deal with because I need my other plugin.

    wp-content\plugins\events-manager\templates\forms\event

    when.php and when-with-recurring.php

You will also have to adjust again when daylight savings time changes.

As Marcus tells us in the link I provided above we need to figure out which plugin is causing the problem and resolve it with them also as a “true” fix.

In my case that is not possible… the conflicting plugin in my case does not have support with this situation.

This sounds like a possible conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
