Problem changing blog url location

  • Hi

    Im currently working on setting up a wordpress page (v2.5) and while i am developing it, i have it saved in mydomain.com/vlog rather than just at mydomain.com

    A short while ago, i tried changing the blog url (in the ‘settings’ tab) to simply mydomain.com to see if it would work alright… Well it didnt work. So i went back to settings and changed the blog url back to mydomain.com – PROBLEM: Something bad happened, and now i cant even access the dashboard OR the wordpress login page AND also cant see my wordpress page at mydomain.com or mydomain.com/vlog!

    Please help!?

    NB: I already have a temporary ‘index.htm’ page loaded at mydomain.com, and that still works.
    NB2: The error message at my page was: “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
    NB3: My FTP program (filezilla) stopped connecting to my server right after all this happened
