  • Hi,

It looks like those blog post grid item have a whole lot of paragraph spaces below them. Can you remove these from the widget areas? What plugin are you using to display these?

    Cheers

    Hi, Tessa:

    Many thanks for responding!

I′m a dummy on making websites!! – consequently, I′m not sure I understand your comment. When you refer to the blog post grid items, do you mean the blog extracts at the end? The bread, the beer and the Mexican. These did not involve a plugin, but were done with the theme developer′s code.

The theme is Hueman and the code is here:

    https://demo-hueman.presscustomizr.com/demo/shortcodes/columns/

It must involve the blog post extracts because there is no gap on other pages.

Sorry – impolite ending to my post!

    Hi Robert,

So you are putting this code in a text widget? You should check for extra spaces in the text widget. Make sure that there are no paragraph returns after or within your code.

If that doesn’t work, I’m not sure I can help more without seeing the widget settings screen of your website. Perhaps you can do a screen grab?

    Cheers

    Hola, Tessa:

I′ll follow your suggestion – and if it doesn′t work, delete that section, then put it in again. It′s peculiar. I had it all in and working fine – then I did something or other on WP which messed it up. So, I redid it, with these results! Another thing that happened second time around was the “More”s would not go where I originally had them – under the images, not over.

    Many thanks for your input!

    Cheers,
    Robert

    Hi Robert,

You’re welcome! I hope it works out for you.

    Cheers
    Tessa
