• Hey. I’m new to chaning the Permalink Strucutre and I want my pages to look like this.
    blog.com/parentpage/page
Is that possible? I know %category%/%postname%/ would make the Category go first, but what if you want Parent Pages and Categories? Or just Parent Pages? Is this possible? And did I explain my problem good?

  • what if you want Parent Pages and Categories?

    Pages don’t have categories.
And no matter what kind of permalink structure you pick (except the default) the parent/child relationship of Pages will be shown out of the box. You don’t need to do anything.

Oh thanks. And I know Pages don’t have categories. I was talking about Normal Posts’s categories. Thanks for the info!

Don’t use irrelevant caps; it’s confusing. In WordPress lingo a post is post and the “thing” you write in admin > Write > Pages is a “Page” with capital P, as opposed to a “page” that can be any webpage.
