Please advise me what I need use.
Absolutely the same Error after update to 4.5.1 today.

    Regards!

Anyone figure out how to get into the backend after 4.5.1 update? I’m stuck in a loop. Whenever I try to access back end, I get the message “Your WordPress database is already up to date.” After I click the Continue button, it takes me right back to where I was. Help!

Unfortunately I couldn’t solve the problem, I had to do reinstall WordPress. lost all my posts. Seems like it was a database problem somewhere, but I am not even sure about that.

@lazlo369 lacked on details for his issue.. but if the issue was a loop to access the dashboard with error message:

    No Update Required

Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!

Usually renaming file /wp-content/object-cache.php to object-cache.php_HOLD for example, should do the job.

However doing it so you will disable cache for your site, which might not be the best solution long term.

I am trying to figure out another way to fix it without impacting cache at the time.

Another possibility for this issue is the db_version in your wp_options table not matching the wp_db_version in /wp-includes/version.php… but that is not and never been my case.

    I hope this help.
