why are products per page limited to 24 in new version?

Hi,

as the title say, I’m wondering why did you put a limit of 24 for products per page display and 28 days for the new badge? Both limits are less than what I’m currently using and less than what I need.. Please restore the old behaviour! And thanks for making this awesome and useful plugin!
