Blank Dashboard

  • My site was update to the new version 4.5.1 and since then I can’t access my dashboard. I can reach the login page, but after logging in, it simply takes me to a blank page.

    I have tried going through the forum for answers, but everything I find assumes you can access site code, and the only way I know how to do this is through my dashboard.

    My website is crystalgauvin.com and it appears to have no issues.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
