Share Buttons Only Load The Page in New Tab – NO SHARE

  • I installed this with high hopes from the reviews but unfortunately out of the box it doesn’t work.

    In fact, does nothing, ALL the share buttons simply go to # which opens up a new tab and reloads the page itself, nothing is being shared, so what gives?

    Also, why isn’t tumblr in there while Linkedin which is utterly useless is there, makes no sense. I know you can add custom, that option is there but having to deal with finding the share API for every service and hoping it sets up right lacks stability, it would be much more useful for it to be in the plugin by default. It is certainly more useful than Linkedin and that’s there.

    Please advise, I really want to like this plugin that’s why I am trying to fix it instead of giving up.

    I am sorry that you experienced trouble upon installation. I just now saw this post. If the logos are linking to #, there is likely a JS error on your site that is preventing the plugin JS to execute on click. Could you provide a url for this or try looking for and resolving the JS errors?

    I will make note that we have a request for tumblr. The current selection is based on client need, not personal choice (linkedin).
