    Good afternoon,

I have been struggling to fix the bricked front end of my website. I have tried my best to figure out how to fix this, but to no avail. Click on this paragraph brings you to an Imgur link to a picture of what my website looks like currently.Inside my wp-admin page, everything is normal and my website looks like I want it to.

I have tried several things, but given that this is my first WordPress website, I may be missing something really simple. It works fine on the desktop in Chrome Incognito but on regular Chrome and Firefox it shows black triangles and symbols all of the page. On my Moto X Pure smartphone, the site appears normally as it should.

If anyone has experienced this situation, I would truly appreciate your feedback. I saw that some WordPress users had had issues with the black triangles inside of a sentence or associated with another error, but I don’t really know what to call mine given that it is all over the page! I hadn’t seen any screenshots of anything like this either. Most of those threads were 5+ years old, and I know that WordPress has significantly evolved since then.

Things I have attempted to try to fix my problem:

    -Uninstalling and reinstalling all plugins
(This worked initially, then the black triangle would appear again
after a short time period [30 minutes or so])
-Check to see to make sure UTF-8 matches inside config-php
-Clearing the cache w/WP Rocket and on my computer

I am currently using the Themify Parallax 2.0.8 theme. Below are the list of plugins I am using. Could there be two plugins who are maybe clashing and cause my site to error out? Is one of my older plugins potentially not fully compatible with WordPress 4.5.1?

    Plugins I have activated:

    AddToAny Share Buttons: 1.6.16
    FormCraft: 3.2.18
    FormCraft MyMail Add-On: 1.0.0
    Google Analytics for MyMail: 0.5.1
Google Tag Manager for WordPress: 1.2
    Hotjar Connecticator: 1.1.0
MyMail – Email Newsletter Plugin for WordPress: 2.1.11
    MyMail AmazonSES Integration: 1.1.6
    Ninja Popups: 4.3.8
    PixelYourSite Pro: 2.2.4
    Thrive Visual Editor: 1.200.7
    Wordfence Security: 6.1.5
    WP Rocket: 2.7.4
    Zopim Widget: 1.4.3

  • What happens when you switch themes to twentysixteen?

I just changed the theme to twentysixteen and it worked fine on mobile and desktop for Chrome as well as Firefox. Thanks for the great tip.

So does this mean that I have a buggy theme? Any ideas on what might be conflicting with WordPress vs the twentysixteen theme which works fine?

You need to contact your vendor for support at

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
