Following the recent WordPress update, my full-width rows stopped working.

I tried both the full width and full width stretched options to no avail. Changing the Full Width Container value to what was posted on various similar threads made no change.

This was working perfectly before the update. I hopped on to update my themes and plugins, and the website was in this state before I updated anything.

Updating everything showed no change either.

    Hi lednarr

Sorry to hear about the hassle. The full width container can be specific to your theme so unless other thread users are using your theme their value for this setting might not be relevant. Do you perhaps have a URL where we can take a look at the problem?

    Thanks

    Thanks ??

Try changing Settings > Page Builder > Layout > Full Width Container to the following:

    #content-wrapper

Let me know how that goes.

    Hi again.

That was actually one of the first things I tried. Nothing changed. Just tried it again just in case, and nothing.

Closest I got to a change was by editing the Custom CSS field. But that was hardly a fix since it only added a gray background to the page between the white zones.

I should also point out that the diagonal separators you can see are specific to the theme used, and seem to work fine in full width.

    Thanks.

    Have you tried:

    #content

    instead?

    Just did, still nothing.

Thanks. Just did a quick test using Perth and the front page template. Full Width Stretched seems to work ok on my local machine. I’m using the default value, body at Settings > Page Builder > Layout > Full Width Container.

That made me think of trying to create a new page from scratch, and it seems to be working fine somehow.

I’ll just replicate everything from the front page to a new one. Any idea of what could have happened?

Regardless, thanks a lot for responding to this thread, I truly appreciate it.

And something even weirder just happened. Creating a new page seems to have fixed the old one as well. Rather confusing, but I’m not gonna complain.

Awesome. Glad it’s fixed. Perhaps caching? Sometimes, in situations like this we can just move on ??

All the best with your site.

    Hi there,

I’m having the exact same problem, in fact ever since WordPress 4.5 update it happened. I put up a post in the “how-to-troubleshoot” thread, a few days later there was another update and everything went back to normal.

However, a week later and it has happened again. This is a huge issue for me and affects the look of my website. It seems to be a growing and consistent issue, how do we fix this and why is it happening!?

    Please help!!!

    Hi c0rtz

Sorry to hear about the hassle. There are several full-width stretched rows at the link provided that are working normally on our side. Can you please, let us know which row isn’t working as expected? Thanks.

    Hey Andrew,

It is absolutely fine now, I don’t understand this! I hope it does not happen again, that was the second time the full-width stretched was not working properly. Cheers for the reply.

Thanks for the update. Apologies for the hassle, it’s one of those things we’d ideally need to see happen live to work out where the issue lies. If it happens again, please, let us know and we’ll take a look.

Hi, Could this be what the issue is with my header picture? I still havnt had a response for my question, would you be able to help?
