help!! i’ve made my posts–“protected”–didn’t mean to..

  • Hi Guys,
    Please help, I’ve just begun a new blog and am beginning to have visitors and somehow I’ve made all my posts show up as “password protected”….making it seem as though everyone who wants to read the posts has to log-in or give me their contact info. I didn’t mean to do that but I can’t find a way to remove the “protected” status.
    HELP!! HELP!!

    Go edit the posts and disable their protection on the post editing page.

    Hi Otto,
    I’ve gone to the edit link but don’t know where to find the button to disable the protection. Could you direct me further? I’m somewhat technically challenged–that’s an understatement:>)

    Heh Otto, I think I got it, it’s the “post password” with the plus or minus sign, right??

    No, I changed that and then closed and re-opened the blog page and it’s still protected…..
