• Great plugin. There is really nothing else that works as well. I was wondering if it would be difficult to tie into a front end plugin like Formidable Pro. Basically a user would fill out the form with an expiration date field or fields using the field meta name and value entered. Formidable allows custom fields, but I’m not sure how to tie it in to your plugin.

    Thanks.

  • It looks like this plugin uses the meta name ‘_expiration-date’, so Formidable could tie into that. The question is what format the Post Expirator plugin saves in. If the formats are both yyyy-mm-dd, then it’ll work without any customizations. But if it’s different, it’ll need a bit of custom code on the Formidable end to save the custom field in the correct format.
