    Hi there,

Like you know you have achieved amazing compression results with your plugin. Cheers for that. Hardly imagine to stay without it.

I was thinking and I guess that I’m not alone to ask you about one little improvement. I know you want all of use to use and compress as much images as possible and we do. All of them. But. In my case let’s say that random people also upload different content on the page include images. And here is the problem.

You know people doesn’t really care and prepare images before uploading. The most often images are called “_IMG_XY63563.JPG and they are just the best is if you are uploading them directly from the camera no matter about the pixels size, right. That the way it goes and we must love your plugin for solving all that extra data and servers power.

But there is an problem anyway. Imagine that more people uploading this huge images and your plugin get stuck with compression of the first user photos while others uploading new in the meantime. Block. And deactivation.

What we are missing here is that your plugin can still be activated but that admin can decide if he wants to compress all images just when they are uploaded or maybe later, in the middle of the night when traffic is low for example. I was personally trying to check how many editors was on the page and activating/deactivating plugin and in between compressing the photos but this is really mission impossible. It didn’t go well like you can imagine.

Hope this is worth reading and considering to add this little new feature. It would be a great thing for us to activate this winning plugin back again.

    Cheers,
    Iztok
