installing v2.5

  • hi i’m starting a new blog and id like to up load the new version 2.5 to my server

    my current version is 2.33
    my question is if ive created a blog with v2.33 and then deleted the whole wordpress folder of my server and uploaded the whole wp folder 2.5 to my server under public html folder would that measn that i’ve upgraded to version 2.5

  • Ehm, you didn’t delete the wp-config file I hope?
    In any case, you have to run “upgrade” (or perhaps even “install” if you really deleted everything) before the upgrade is finished.
