• Hello.

I’m looking for a specific functionality for Woocommerce.

Basically, I want to have global product attributes that add an extra fixed amount to the price.

The Global Add-ons function in the “Product Add-ons” Woocommerce plugin does almost exactly what I want, the problem is that with it, I can only set these global attributes per category.

I’d like to define said global attributes/add-ons and then manually choose in each product which one to use.

Does anybody know of a Woocommerce plugin that already does this?

    Thank you.

You could make some ‘dummy’ categories for this and assign to the products you want to have those addons.

Or, if its one set of global addons, assign to all product, then disable via the checkbox for the products that don’t need them.

The thing is, it’s a customer the one who’s going to be using the store and those workarounds are going to be very complicated to them (it’s not a single set).

I’ll probably end up developing that functionality myself but I wanted to be sure there’s nothing out there that already does that, tried searching in Woothemes without luck.

    Thanks for your attention.

Checking a category shouldn’t be too hard once shown?

You may have too then, its not something core offers (what you’re doing is not technically ‘global’).

Did you ever develop a solution for this? I am have no idea where to start with this issue. Lol.

I have a set of global add ons for a category of “bowling balls.” There are 3 bowling ball products total.

On one of the bowling balls I need the 3 of the options under weight to be disabled or not appearing. Do you know how I could accomplish this?

If you could email be at [email protected] I would love to hear your input.

    Thanks,

    Kyle
