Gallery pagination not working when using other permalink other than plain

    I’ve updated my site to the latest WP version as well as all the plugins. I’ve noticed that the gallery pager is not working right. It always returns a 301 redirect error. Already tried disabling all other plugins but still no luck.

    It works if I use a plain format for the permalink. It was working before so I have no idea what I did wrong.

    @astralprogrammer – Can you provide a link to where this is happening so we can see it first-hand?

    Also what was the specific Permalinks structure you were using previously (which may need to be set for us to see why it is not working now)?

    Thanks for the quick response. I’m currently running on a standby server. I could email you the server details.

    As for the permalink format used: <website>/%category%/%postname%

    Hi Cais,

    I’ve tried to rollback before I update everything. It seems that the issue appears after I’ve updated the WPML plugins.

    WPML Multilingual CMS from 3.1.9.7 to 3.2.7
    WPML String Translation from 2.1.4 to 2.2.6

    Now, the problem is how I could retain the previous behavior of nextgen gallery even though I updated WPML?

    @astralprogrammer – If you are seeing this issue after the update of WPML they may be able to assist in why this is happening on your site. We are not aware of any specific conflict in general with WPML and NextGEN Gallery but there are also often tweaks that one of the other plugin needs to make as we strive to maintain our compatibility.
