    I am not sure if it is due to the latest update of Molongui (yoast and some other plugin updates), but just after the upgrade I wanted to get an Author page link it delivered the Not Found error.

    My apologies for posting here if it is not due to Molongui, but I had no other idea after extensively googling for a solution.

    Hi PanoGraph,

    could you provide us the link to your website so we can check?

    When you say “Author page”, what do you exactly mean, “archive author page (from WP)” or “archive guest author page”? Archive author page for guest authors is a premium feature, but surely it should not throw any “not found” error.

    Hi Molongui Team,

    many thanks for the quick response. I use the free version of MA and in the meantime I tested this issue by deactivating MA and then it worked, those Author pages are ok.

    Actually these Authors not for the classic WP Blog Posts, but for Panoramas of the GeoPress Theme where the Panorama Author pages are showing up correctly. See here: https://geopress.net/demo/author/yiorgos/

    Checked your Changelog and found this: “Author blog’s link removed from author name’s and placed into a stand alone link named “Blog”.”

    I guess this is the cause, don’t you think so?

    How can I quickly go back to the previous version until it is corrected please?
    These author pages are very important to us and I do not want Google to send me 404 error notifications.

    Hi,

    please, use the contact form on our website to privately indicate us your email address. We will send you an installer of previous version.

    About the issue you are experiencing, we are not sure what might be happening. We have made some tests and it works well. It might be some interference with another plugin, but cannot tell. We will keep looking into it.

    Using the same form where you can indicate your email, please, let us know which plugins are being used in your website. Also, please, paste a screenshot of the guest users in your site, so we can have more clues.

    EDIT: The “Blog” thing is not the cause of your issue.
