How to remove update post on Activity Stream?

This is my first wp site so to remove the Update Post on Buddypress member profile Activity Stream, I can ask Buddypress Support. As for to remove the same thing on the Site-wide Activity stream, does it fall under wp or buddypress? Thank you.

Activity Stream is a BuddyPress feature, not a WordPress feature, which is why I recommended asking BuddyPress Support.
