STATIC PAGE OPTION in Hueman Theme – where did it go?
-
Hello, I’m looking at this new “customizer” (which is really awkward for me since I’m so used to the previous layout with the “Themes Options” page) and I’m confused at what happened to the static page option in the original WordPress customizer. You know, in the previous standard WordPress layout, that customizer had a way of giving the option for blog style or static page, and you could choose which page you wanted static. Now that’s gone. I don’t want to mess with any code. Why was that option removed???
On a side note, and here’s my major complaint…. I wish users would have an option to accept an update or not. I run a business and changes like this really rob so much of my time. If I choose a theme to work with, even incorporating a child’s theme, I’d like it to STAY THE WAY I HAD IT! It appears that every company wants to make changes in order to stay “so-called” updated. Don’t you think maybe people would like things to stay the same for a little while? It’s gives a sense of security and trust in a company. If a company constantly makes changes without any warning or choice, consumer trust is compromised.
All in all I WANT THAT THEME OPTIONS PAGE BACK. What was so bad about it anyway?
