Embedding YouTube Comments (with response capability) in WordPress pages

I don’t know if this is even possible.

I have a client I recently built a site for with WordPress. he has a popular (well in my eyes, he’s got over 220,000 subscribers and over 800 videos) YouTube channel I’ve managed to bring into the site with wp automatic.

It also imports the existing comments at the time of import, but not after.

The problem i have, is i don’t think it’s going to work using two sets places comment management. The client does giveaways that ask people to respond, but some are responding on the website, not YouTube and they won’t be found in the random searcher.

I really want to know if there’s any API options at YouTube that i could utilize to bring in comments from YouTube via iframe etc.

My guess is this isn’t possible, but i sure hope I’m wrong
