site broken after wordpress update to version 4.5

  • Before doing the update I updated the themes and two plugins requiring update. Then I checked the site and all was working fine. Only then I started the WordPress update. It seemed to do it, but when updating the database in gave the 500 error with the following message on Chrome “is currently unable to handle this request”. What should I do please to recover my website? Thanks!

    I found in the logs, through ftp, that there were some errors related to a plugin. I replaced its folder with a saved version of it and now the site is back.
