I have the Mailpoet plugin with the WooCommerce Mailpoet addon. In the mailpoet settings I have signup email confirmation disabled. When a customer is added to the newsletter on checkout they receive an email to confirm their signup. They should not receive this email since that option is disabled. I reinstalled Mailpoet and the addon. Same results. I’m in the process of updating to WordPress 4.5. How can I stop the disabled confirmation emails from being sent?

Do you have the “Double Opt-in” option enabled on the add-on settings page?

Yes, It’s enabled. I disabled it and I think that worked. Is there a way to not display the notice on the checkout page that they successfully signed up? I figured I’d just delete code below Display a notice to the customer.
