After WP4.5 update, Smart Slider 2 not showing up

The problem in your website is with this file:

that on line 43. there is this code:
jQuery('a[href=#top]').click(function(){
which I think worked with older jQuery-s, but it’s not working like this in new ones, you need to have ” ” signs around special characters, or you will receive a jQuery error. So you should replace that line with this one:
jQuery('a[href="#top"]').click(function(){
and it should be fine.

I also have the same bug. The fact is that after upgrading to WordPress 4.5, the slider no longer appeared. So I returned to the previous version of WordPress 4.4.3 with a full backup of my site, believing that the slider would return to its place. But alas this is not the case.

I followed the advice you gave to abc_l. But the fact is that I have no customscript.js file – What should I do?

I’m not sure, if the returning to 4.4.3 worked, but this will be the problem. You should open up this file:
https://fertilispisam.com/wp-content/themes/Divi/js/custom.js

Look for this code:
$( 'a[href*=#]:not([href=#])' ).click( function() {

Replace it with this:
$( 'a[href*="#"]:not([href="#"])' ).click( function() {

And that should solve it. Or you could just try to update your Divi theme, I think they fixed this issue.

Sorry to pester, but I’m having the exact same issue. Like Blikouame, there is no custom.js file to edit. I have scoured /wp-content/themes/Zerif/js/ looking for it.

It was Master Slider and I edited my last post a minute before you replied: I fixed the JS error using a theme update and then re-did the custom code I used to get the slider to display.

and the codepart you should modify is this:
jQuery('ul.wpt-hmenu a[href=#]')
which should be like this:
jQuery('ul.wpt-hmenu a[href="#"]')
