Lightbox only working on gallery?

@velvetlounger – Have a look at the settings under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … What must the lightbox be applied to?

This is what to work with if you want to use the same NextGEN Gallery Lightbox Effect for all images … if you are wanting a different Lightbox library then it would likely be in another active plugin or your current theme where you should be looking.

I am only trying to use the Nextgen Lightbox. I have no other Lightbox plugins installed.

The Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects>What must the lightbox be applied to? was set to “Try to apply to all images that link to image files” I changed it to “Try to apply to all images”

Now the featured image opens in the Lightbox, but none of the Nexgen images embedded in the post open in the Lightbox.

I also tried setting it to “Only apply to Nextgen and WordPress images” this option does not work open a lightbox for anything including the featured image. clicking the featured image just reloads the page, but im ok with that

When I set it to “Only apply to Nextgen images” (the images in this post are all in a nextgen gallery) still no LIghtbox opens.

So changing the setting did not work. The only thing that opens a Lightbox is a link to a gallery.

Still stumped.
