    Greetings TobiasBg,

Great work done with this plugin.

All I’m looking to export the table created into excel but cannot really figure out how this is supposed to be done.
Any help on the same would really be appreciated.

PS : Don’t want to download using the button but export via menu from the dashboard.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble as well as for the late reply. I’ve been on holidays and therefore couldn’t reply earlier.

Just export the table to a CSV file. Those can be opened by Excel without problems.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hey TobiasBg,

thanks for replying, I’m sorry I should have mentioned this earlier that I’m using the TablePress to make multilingual table which includes symbols from Asian languages like Hindi, Chinese and Japanese. So the issue remains that CSV does not render those characters and the only option that remains is to be able to download the file as an EXEL file.

Any further help on the same would really be appreciated.

    Hi,

that’s strange. The CSV file should contain those if your database and other parts of the server use the UTF-8 character encoding.

A direct Excel export is not possible, unfortunately, as TablePress can only read that file type.

    Regards,
    Tobias
