• Dear Support!

I am using Polylang, and I really like it!

I want to make a multilingual site, showing the Events with the Event Calendar plugin.
But when I click on the List/Month/Day events selector in a non-English language, for example “Mois” in French, it goes to the URL /events/mois and generates a 404 page not found. (It only accepts the events/month URL, in English.)

I’ve seen that Polylang translated the Events Calendar automatically, but is it possible to set the URL of the button “Mois” manually?

Also is it possible to add strings to Polylang manually? There are a few texts on the page which are not showing up in the Polylang strings translator, but I want to translate them as well.

Thank You in advance for your answer!
    Kind Regards
    Anna

    Hi

How did you set /mois? You can provide a screenshot, it helps.

There are a few texts on the page which are not showing up in the Polylang strings translator,

Where did you create these strings, in your theme options? Or are they provide by your theme?

The simple method to fix this issue is to remove month, list, day, today, upcoming and past translations from the *.mo file of the corresponding language in the /lang directory of The Events Calendar plugin. These are around line #7070 in the *.pot file.

P.S. Notice that entries to remove are NOT capitalized, so double check.
