Increases page size significantly

    Hi,
    first of all plugin is the first to actually work properly (with ajax). Well done!

    I do however have an issue which has caused me to deactivate the plugin.
    When active all page sizes increase significantly (product page increases by 0.4mb) and in gtmetrix, webpagetest, pingdom my site performs worse than before.
    Any idea what might be causing this?

    Hi,

    I found out that this only occurs when I activate “fade in objects” and delay by 50ms so one of them seems to be the issue. What happens is that suddenly the plugin doesnt load the resized images but rather the original size images.

    Could you provide me with a link to your site? It’s possible that there’s nothing I can do about it, but I can at least take a look and see if I can diagnose it.

    Bizarre. For reasons I don’t fully comprehend, it looks like the it’s loading the largest size image, instead of the correct one as specified by the srcset.

    The plugin I wrote implements Lazy Load XT for wordpress, but I didn’t actually write the javascript itself. (My plugin basically filters content and loads the .js and .css… with a few other bells and whistles.) It looks like whatever is going on is outside of the purview of what this WP plugin does. You might try following up with the creators of the .js plugin itself here: https://github.com/ressio/lazy-load-xt/.

    Hi,
    thanks for the reply. Atm I have the “fade in objects” & delay disabled so the issue isnt occurring. I’ll try to contact the creator via the github and if I get any update I’ll pass it on to you.
