    1. You can add this by overriding one of our template files. See this article for more information: https://www.download-monitor.com/kb/overriding-content-templates/

    2. The Redirect to file feature indeed redirects in the same window. What this feature does is redirect the user to the actual file instead of forcing the download via our PHP script. If the file is located in the dlm_uploads folder, you’ll have to move it to another folder if you want to use the Redirect to file option because that folder is protected from direct access.
