Jetpack loads Facebook Connect Tracker

    Hey guys,

    thanks for your awesome plugin!

    For some time I realized that JetPack loads a Facebook Connect tracker.

    Is there a way to deactive it? I’ve already tried to change the publicize settings, but bootless.

    Concerning some current German court decisions it’s a very critical topic.

    I solved it …

    You just have to deactivate the additional widget feature of JetPack. It doesn’t matter, if you use the Facebook-Like-Box or not. The facebook tracker is always embedded :/

    I can’t seem to reproduce this issue on my end. Facebook’s SDK is only added to your site if either the Facebook Page Plugin widget is active, or if you use the Monster Widget plugin.

    If the embed code is added to your site as soon as you activate the Extra Widgets Module, could you post your site URL here so I can have a look?
