HTTP error/image did not load
-
I have GoDaddy managed wordpress for 2 sites. I started one about 18 months ago and the other on Thursday. I recently moved house and am using NBN but this probably isn’t the problem because when I use another internet provider at a different site it is the same. I am also managing wordpress through 2 different computers so it is likely not the settings on my computer that is the problem.
I am having problems on both of my sites. I am going to use Site1 for the one started 18 months ago and Site2 for the new one.
Problem: when I upload images on Site2 I get the red error message HTTP error. when I upload images on Site1 I get the error message “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
If I wait a few minutes the image usually comes up ‘ready to use’ but it doesn’t look right. it looks like this: https://ef2.6bc.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/screen-shot-of-image-not-uploaded-properly.jpg
I really need help with this. I have looked at other forums and it appears to want me to use a plugin called no flash uploader or disable flash uploader but these don’t exist in the plug-in finder. I have also tried disabling all the plug-in’s but this doesn’t seem to make any difference.
