Under “Page Attributes”, we created a “Parent” element called “Confidential” section for our hidden pages.

We have noticed that if we search for example, the first word of a confidential page’s title using the search option on our website, the link is visible on the search results.

The user mustn’t get access to any hidden pages at all under the Confidential section. We (admin) should only have access.

We still need to be able to edit the pages and send the links to the user if required.

We were advised that the way to sort out this issue is to set status as “Password Protected” then the page will not display when user search as “confidential”.

We believe there must be other ways apart from “password protected”.

    Please advise.

    Thanks for your response, ijurisic87!

1st option: We will try the option you’ve suggested: “to exclude those pages from search results. However, if we were to exclude those pages from search results will the pages still appear on Google search results?

2nd option: Public Post Preview. We’ve noticed that the link will expired after some time. We don’t want that to happen, we want to link to be available at all times to anonymous users for public view. Is there a way to extend the time?
