    How do I get rid of the name box in my newsletter sign up widget?

    You can’t remove name field from the widget but you can use shortcode & remove name field from it. You can use this shortcode :
    [email-subscribers namefield="NO" desc="" group="Public"]

    Also, can I make the title, description, and sign up form less spaced out? I want everything closer together. The website is theme1.1stopnonprofitshop.com.

    You can write custom CSS to make fields less spaced out.
