Would Cache affect the way a 'booking' plugin works?
-
I’m having a little bit of difficulty with a site and after trying different things, I found that when I disabled the WP Fastest Cache, it seems to work fine.
I’m just wondering if the Cache would have any affect on how a booking plugin works. (I’ve no clue what it uses, cookies/tokens/whatever to check the reservation dates.) Would a cache plugin affect this process?
The problem is this: I run a site with a premium booking plugin which allows users to select dates, and then it tells them which rental properties are available. I’ve had several customers complain that after selecting their desired dates, the form defaults (or changes) their date selection to something else. Every time they try to edit the dates, it keeps going back to the same date that’s not what they picked.
What makes it even harder to diagnose is that I couldn’t replicate this except when using a old iMac computer (2009).
I really thought of everything and at the very last, I thought… Maybe it’s the cache. Maybe it’s storing previous data about the dates and keeps trying to use those old dates…
Is this possible? Am I crazy here?
Lol, any advice or help is appreciated. Thank you!
