• Hi

This looks like it’s pretty much exactly what I’ve been looking for but I have a problem – How on earth do I use it?

Do you have any ‘Getting Started’ tutorials please?

From what I understand it’s all based on ‘shortcodes’ (the help keeps mentioning a shortcode generator but I can’t find that anywhere), but what do I do with them?
I’ve set the base directories up. Now what do I do?

I’ve tried putting a basic shortcode [fileaway] on a page, but when I view it there’s nothing there, not even the shortcode.

What would be very handy is a video showing a basic setup, and basic example of showing and uploading files.

    Many thanks

There are tutorials galore on the tutorials tab. Your shortcode button is on the second row of your tinymce panel. You have to toggle open the extra rows using the tinymce toggle button found on the first row. Or go to File Away settings, options tab, and change the row to the first row.

Nothing is showing up because there are no files in your directory. Add directories=true to your shortcode and you’ll see any subdirectories.

    Thanks for the reply Thom.
So I guess my next question is – TinyMCE Panel? What’s that & were do I find it please?

    Ahh… OK, so that’s what it’s called.

I had to go into Visual mode in the page editor and click the ‘Toolbar Toggle’ button to show the second row of buttons. That’s why I wasn’t seeing the FileAway one.

Yessir. That’s where shortcode buttons go.
