Show Full Text of blog posts

Hello,

Lightning is a very nice theme and I am hoping to use it for my website. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get it to show Full Text of each blog post on the front page, it only shows a summary and must be clicked to read more. Additionally, it does not show the images from the post. I tried changing this setting under Settings –> Reading but it has no effect. Can you help? Thank you
