I am unable to translate in French some strings of the front end which are important for an end-user:

I have POEdit and I have the PO english and french source files, but it’s not there when I select “display untranslated strings first”, or when I look for these string.
    Please advise.

    Which method you use?
wpDiscuz Phrase system or .PO .MO Translation Files?

In WPDiscuz settings, I have checked “use PO/MO files”.

I manage my own server, so I can download the PO/MO files.

When I edit them with PoEdit, the front end texts I mentioned re are not in the “non translated” texts.

Please make sure you’re use wpDiscuz 3.2.7 version’s POD file

I use wpDiscuz 3.2.7 and if by POD file you mean POT file, I use the 3.2.7 one, otherwise tell me where I can find this POD file.

    Hello guys,

I have updated to 3.7.8 but the problem is still there.
    could you escalate please?
I can do the translation for you if you need.
just put the strings which are missing in the PO file, I have POEdit and can do the job, no problem.

ok could not wait any longer so did it by myself by comparing with the po file for german and yes some strings where missing.
so I added them, translated them, compile the mo, published on my site and now front end is fine.
I can give you the po and mo.
but please for next releases, please update the po files so I don’t have to search by myself what is new.
