Place Order button doesn't work

  • Hi All

    I have a random error on my staging site where the place order button has stopped working.

    I have tried all using firefox, chrome and safari and it doesn’t work on any (randomly works on android chrome though).

    – I am getting no JS errors
    – the ajax file seems to load ok as i can update cart and use the click here to enter your coupon and update it.
    – i am only using the standard paypal that comes with it
    – tried deactivating plugins no joy
    – using storefront child theme
    – worked fine a few hours ago after doing some css updates it broke, undid them all still broke
    – tested the local copy and it worked, couldn’t see any difference to pulled the site down from the stating and overwrote my local copy DB now that doesn’t work…

    Any help would be amazing….thanks in advance.

    If it just hangs, find your server error logs. You should see a ‘fatal’ error with more information.

    The server logs were empty, bar a few notices about undefined Vars…

    Weirdly, started working again fine this morning!
