Associate image with post?

Hi,

I’m trying to find a plugin that will allow me to associate an image with a post.

So rather than embedding an image within the main content, I would like another field (like title) so I can put the image URL in there.

Then when I list my posts I could put an image with each one (just like you can specify wp_title, something like wp_image would be good!)

Is there anything like that out there? It also means I can put images into my posts without having to embed them in the content (I can specify it in my single.php template).
