Hi there, I first want to thank you for a great plugin and it is the first that has solved the frontend upload to gallery function flawlessly.

However, there was one minor issue. Upon activating the plugin it did not automatically create a closify-maestro folder in the uploads folder, and no index.php could therefore be found.. I fixed it by manually adding that folder, but it could be an inconvenience for many.

If I could I’d also love a few additional features (if possilbe) that I am sure would take it to even greater heights and many more downloads.

As I am using this pluing on a community based website, it would be awesome to have some kind of rating system on the images. People could favorite the images they like best, or give them stars. It would also be great to have a comment section in the lightbox, and the possibility to show the username of the image uploader.

It’s nice to give the users the ability to upload in galleries, but it will give them a greater incentive to do so if they got something in return in terms of a social aspect.

With such features this would become the number one plugin for frontend image uploads on social and community sites, as I have never come across plugins that can do all these things together in one package. It could easily become a premium plugin, as I would easily pay for a plugin like this.

  • I encountered this issue as well. This is the specific error message:

Warning: touch(): Unable to create file /wp-content/uploads/closify-uploads/index.php because No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/closify-maestro-image-uploader-gallery-builder/closify-maestro.php on line 129

    Hello There,

You are completely right about this warning which happen at the first initial upload.

I have fixed that in Version 1.9.2.2:

    = 1.9.2.2
    – Get rid of warning message while creating index.php file inside of the upload folder
    – Fixed Bulk user selection in the TinyMCE closify plugin
    – Security enhancements
    – Increase multi-image uploader stability
    – General code redesign to enable rapid futuristic feature updates
    – Enjoy!

    Thanks for your feedback.

    I appreciated.
