Custom CSL styles

Hi again, I would like to use custom csl styles for my library. I have already tried to submit a modified version of the IEEE.csl, which added DOI at the end of the records. However, it seems that people in charge of the CSL repository are not interested in this addition. So is there a way to upload my custom CSL and use it with zotpress? If I would mess with the plugin code, how can I do it in such a way that an update does not break everything?
