• A friend is having trouble with their blog, most of the pages work fine (index, viewing posts, etc), but on search results it shows an error on the sidebar – for example:

    https://honeymoon.every1loves2travel.com/?s=caribbean

    The error is:

[Access denied for user ‘****’@’localhost’ (using password: NO)]

I’ve edited the user name out in the post.

I’m a little confused as to why in all other cases the side bar works fine, any suggestions for fixing this would be much appreciated.

  • Are you using any search plugins or sidebar widgets?

Thanks for your response. There are lots of plugins installed on the blog. The only search related one was ‘Search Reloaded’ – I’ve tried turning it off, but it hasn’t helped.

I tried changing the theme, and the search works in other themes, so I assume it’s a problem with the search page in that theme.

I can’t see a search.php or other files that look like they’re for the search template – are there any particular files I should be looking at?

    Thanks again.
