Cannot translate my menu's with polylang/qtranslate and tessaract

Hi everybody,
I am using tesseract 2 theme to build my site using beaver builder, which is very good.
I want to make two versions of my site, a Dutch and a English version.

I have made two menu’s, one in Dutch and one in English.
When I add the menu’s to my website in the customiser everything works fine until I save the settings, then my menu disappears.

I tried polylang as first and then qtranslate but this problem occurs with both of the themes. So my questions is, is there a fix to this problem, or another plugin that will work?
