Import screen not fully displayed

    The import screen stops at the entry “Select a post to import the comments from:” and displays a selection box with only one entry – Select – and nothing more. One of the fields that is not displayed is the one to start the import so although I only want to import comments from a page I can’t do it.

    I tried this on another site and it worked OK, so the problem may be that I have over 5,700 posts (and rising) on my main site bigdave44.com.

    Hmm, yes. WordPress/PHP probably caps out on memory usage.
    I am not sure how to proceed with this. Do you have a suggestion?

    I could imagine, that if the postcount is too high, or the commentcount is too high, that it just doesn’t display the post list. That way all the other options will be available still.
    How many comments do you have? And what do you want to import really?

    Hi, in the current development version I set a max of 500 posts and 500 pages. It also doesn’t cache meta_keys and term data.
    Does this work for you?

    Sorry I didn’t reply earlier but I’ve been away for the weekend. The development version did everything I wanted, so thanks very much.
