Hi,

After authenticating from CAS when I redirect to WordPress, its showing following :

— in browser address bar : https://wordpress.myorg.com/?ticket=ST-3-RvCHKlUaLCbVkxboAjHY-cas01.example.org

— HTML Page : User account does not exists in WordPress database !

— in Error Logs :

After further Debug I found it create service validate URL like this :

— Validate URL = https://cas-internal:8443/SSO/p3/serviceValidate?ticket=ST-9-gL2Lxka0Jdjf77VAZeIl-cas01.example.org&service=https://wordpress.myorg.com/

I’m not sure if “p3” needs to be there for CAS validate URL. I have tried to remove it from Admin UI. It’s not going from there.

@Alain-Aymerick FRANCOIS : Do you think, this might be the issue here?

Hi,

In CAS protocol version 3.0, CAS validate URL ends with ‘/p3/serviceValidate’. You can see documentation here : https://jasig.github.io/cas/4.1.x/protocol/CAS-Protocol.html.
So it seems that you CAS server does not support CAS protocol version 3.

If you want remove “p3” from Admin UI, you have just to set ‘CAS Version protocol’ to ‘2’.

@Alain-Aymerick FRANCOIS : Ohh !! My Mistake. I have CAS server with “Protocol 2”. Just selected CAS version 2 from the drop-down and its working.
