submit listing without login in

    Hi

    Is it possible to configure GeoDirectory so that user submit a listing without having to login or register? Alternatively, to have the login/registration fields as part of the submission form?

    Another question – does one typically have to update the add-ons quite often? In other words, if I use some paid add-ons, will I need to keep buying a membership quite often so that I can update plugins?

    Hi,

    no that is not possible. Making the register form as part of the add listing form would require a customization.

    We frequently release add-ons updates. If you don’t want to update them, you should avoid updating anything else (core plugin and wp as well).

    Otherwise you can buy the add-ons needed individually at full price and get free lifetime updates and support.

    Just a couple of follow up question that came to mind.

    I envision listing two types of events. The first would be stand alone events for which I’m happy to purchase the events add on.

    The second type of events are events that are associated with places. So for example if one of the businesses in my directory is offering a special offer I might want to list that as an “event” of sorts. This second type of event should show on the specific page of that business listings, and I should be able to also list those events in various parts of the site.

    Are both of those type of events possible?

    Hi,

    yes you could do that. You’d need the price manager add-on too, this to allow listing business to events, only if they select a specific package. (that can be free or paid)
